What happened at the 2007 Grade IV Solo Piping Competition.

Competitions will be held under the shade of dozens of tall pine trees in "The Pipers' Woods," which is now close to the Breckenridge Saucy Wench Pub (a different place from last year--see map on home page). The composite photo above shows the environment that the competition will be in (with a younger James Cuthill piping). (Who's that judge?)

The Elizabeth Celtic Festival is really a showcase for the solo piper, with double the events of most Highland Games. While the number of spectators isn't all that much at any Highland Games piping competition, we intend to have some seating available, and perhaps announce the piper, their tune, and any other background information,in the effort to make the piping competition more spectator-friendly.
