The 2010 Elizabeth Celtic Festival

The Breckenridge Rogue Pub
(At Sherwood Forest Corner, near the Dublin Stage)

(Dublin is the Capital of Ireland, and was a Viking village. Dublin celebrated its millennium in 1988 with the slogan 'Dublin's great in '88'. The city is far older than that, but in that year, the Norse King Glun Iarainn recognised Mael Sechnaill II (Mael Sechnaill Mor), High King of Ireland, and agreed to pay taxes and accept Brehon Law.

The Breckenridge Rogue Pub will be convienent to the Dublin Stage, Rugby, the British Cars and the Merchants' Row area. Near the pub will be the large tent, sponsored by ACV Insurance of Elizabeth (Chad Farmer), where people can sit at the caberet tables, enjoy a fine brew from the pub, and watch the great bands and Celtic dance groups on stage. Nearby are several food vendors: Tamlin's Corned Beef & Cabbage and Sandwiches; The Paddy Wagon with its Buffalo Burgers and Hamburgers; and Rose's Creamery Ice Cream.

We are thrilled to welcome back Breckenridge Brewery as a returning sponsor for the Elizabeth Celtic Festival!

A sample focus group of people associated with the Elizabeth Celtic Festival took on the challenging task of tasting the different products made by Breckenridge Brewery...to see if this would be a good match, and to see if our demanding customers would embrace what we would sell at our pubs. This is not a light subject. We're very happy and feel that, after a hard day tossing a caber, piping a hard set of tunes, dancing over swords or using swords in combat, you would find these brews as good as any you'll find anywhere.
