The 2008 Elizabeth Celtic Festival

The Breckenridge Saucy Wench Pub in the Edinburgh Stage Building

(Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland--pronounced: "Ed-in-burra" or "Ed-in-burro" ...not "Ed-in-berg")

The Edinburgh Stage is what is normally called the Pavilion Building at Casey Jones Park. Inside is a performance area featuring several Celtic Music entertainers, starting at 11:00 a.m. It's also where the Saucy Wench Pub is, and we're planning to have a large tent outdoors, near the pub, where you can order beer and other drinks which will be served by Pub staff (if you're of age). People can also just sit at the caberet tables and eat.

We are thrilled to welcome Breckenridge Brewery as a new sponsor for the Elizabeth Celtic Festival!

A sample focus group of people associated with the Elizabeth Celtic Festival took on the challenging task of tasting the different products made by Breckenridge Brewery...to see if this would be a good match, and to see if our demanding customers would embrace what we would sell at our pubs. This is not a light subject. We're very happy and feel that, after a hard day tossing a caber, piping a hard set of tunes, dancing over swords or using swords in combat, you would find these brews as good as any you'll find anywhere.
At the Edinburgh Stage pub there will be Scotch and Mead and other drinks. Check back as your curiosity directs.
