Camping at the 2010 Elizabeth Celtic Festival

Information about the Camping Area.
This year, Elizabeth Parks and Rec. District, has improved the camping area at Casey Jones Park, to include
Electricity and Water Hook-ups for 22 sites, along with electricity for 4 tent sites. ALL CAMPING RESERVATIONS
WILL BE HANDLED BY THE ELIZABETH PARKS AND REC. DISTRICT. BY CALLING 303-646-3599.
There are rules and regulations that come with the improvements, and changes in the accessibility to the upper side
(east side) of Casey Jones Park. As of June 1, 2010, the cost for each site is $25 PER NIGHT (the tent sites are less). (Therefore, three nights is $75.)
There will be restrictions on the number of vehicles allowed be site (one vehicle per site allowed). Additional vehicles will need to be parked
elsewhere, where they are allowed (whether that is in the official Festival parking at $2 per car per day, or at Evans Park,
a quarter mile west).
The Elizabeth Celtic Festival Association no longer is involved with managing the east side (upper area) of Casey Jones Park,
either for camping, or for access. No vehicle access is possible (or allowed) for vendors, clans or others, from the campground directly to either the
Vendor Row or Clan Row...the loop that once existed is now broken or separated by a berm, rocks and freshly planted trees. All issues in this
area will be handled by the Elizabeth Parks and Rec. District. During the Festival, there will be an EPR "Camp Host" present at the park,
to deal with all camping placements, concerns or issues.
A limited amount of primitive camping locations in the west side (downhill of the park) will be organized through
the committees that have performers or staff who are comfortable with less developed locations. There will (most likely) be
an open fire ban in effect in July, so all campers should come with propane or fuel stoves.
